At the right time

The old saying "As time goes," Everything. " However, I'm finding that trying to get it right that time is often beyond our control - and sometimes seems like time is really cheap in retrospect, right on the mark.

When my dog, Sable, went blind 10 days ago I moved to Victoria from Calgary, the first time I thought it was awesome because not only was it very inconvenient to pack up a house, while an aging deaf and blind dog care, it also means that I will be taking her out of familiar surroundings.

Four days before the car will be traveling with three different motels. Without a rental suit - then we have six weeks, at which time they will have to go to a new house of a friend in Victoria the place to be living in a basement room. Then, after those six weeks, sable, soda (my other dog), I will move again.

This meant that, on arrival in Victoria, I have six or so weeks to get new houses to be rented - to accept that two German Shepherds would be appropriate for a blind dog in a fenced yard and no steps, as - Or buy your own place.

But I was ready for six weeks. No. The day after I arrived in Victoria, Sable crying and started pacing. I rushed to emergency. His eye pressure had spiked again, drops were no longer working. Four days later came out the other eye.

Now, a big old blind dog care is one thing. After a major major surgery for elderly and blind dog care is enough. Weeks after her surgery, I knew that I alone for long, nor could I get in the car with him at home would not be able to leave. It is rather difficult to innovate, which I feel too much pressure through the roof, his eye was gone just four days left in between to be looking for a place to stay - and her surgery.

Sure enough, it's the grace period that I was driving down a street in Sydney when I saw a sign for an open house was during. I had children of their friends in the car and one of them went with me. And get this: all the furniture and boxes to bring home after the movers had finished, he walked out the front door and out I went back. I stood there a moment, in the middle of the yard, looking around and smiling. Then I looked up and said that no one can hear the 'thanks' - and then all office boxes sunroom where I was standing still went back inside. And there, sitting on top of a file box, John was old Timex.

No way. Only rational explanation I can come up with is that the movers were going to take a banker box, it was downhill and John watch fell out of the hole where the handle. If so, it is strange that no one said anything to me about finding it. And I certainly did not start any unpacking yet. So I picked up the clock and smiled ... And in my heart, I heard John say "at the right time, the Pope."
